A CAREER TALK TO FIGURE OUT YOUR STRAND
On May 17, 2024, the Rotary Club of Malvar with the U & I Professionals Club of Malvar, Deped and Batangas State University – Malvar Campus, concluded the career talk that aims to give a better understanding of what tracks and strands available for Senior High School that the Grade 10 Students from Luta National High School participated. Different professionals and Club members were given time to explain their professions and what tracks and strands their career belongs.They help students identify their interests, strengths, and values, which is crucial for making informed decisions about their future. Understanding what they enjoy and what they are good at can guide them toward a career path that’s fulfilling and suited to their skills.
Another career talk was accomplished by the Rotary Club of Malvar with the U & I Professionals Club of Malvar and Deped last May 20, 2024, at Santiago National High School.The career talks exposed students to a wide range of career options and fields they might not have considered. This broadens their perspective and helps them understand the various opportunities available to them. Understanding the relevance of their current studies and how they relate to future career paths can boost students' motivation and confidence. It provides them with a clearer sense of purpose and direction.
The last talk about the different tracks and strand was held last May 24 at Malvar School of Arts and Trades in partnership with Rotary Club of Malvar and U&I Professionals Club of Malvar. This was headed by different professionals from various fields who provided firsthand insights and advice, that is very invaluable for students looking to explore specific careers or industries.By exploring different career strands and tracks, students can make more informed choices about their education and career paths. This can lead to better alignment between their academic pursuits and career goals. Overall, the career talks help students connect their personal interests and skills with practical career opportunities, making the transition from education to the workforce smoother and more strategic
ROTARY MOBILE CLINIC GOES TO MALVAR BARANGAYS
(The Womb to Tomb Medical Mission and Legal Mission Series) OB-GYNE
The Rotary Club of Malvar aims to provide free Ultrasound Check up to the beneficiaries of Barangays in Malvar, Batangas. Big thanks to Dr. Karen Kilala of Great Beginnings, Malvar Health headed by Dra. Kierley Villanueva and the head of the Barangays and Functionaries, indigent pregnant women were given a chance to check their health as well as their babies last June 9, 2024 June 16, 2024 and June 23, 2024.
The Rotary Mobile Clinic will offer free consultations, exams, and treatments for women’s health issues, including prenatal and postnatal care, gynecological exams, and family planning services through the whole Medical Mission Leg.
Consultations to pediatrics, medical and surgical patients was given to different beneficiaries.

Dental and Medical Mission to Senior Citizens
The Rotary Club of Malvar Mobile Clinic was sent to Barangay Santiago, Malvar, Batangas last July 1, 2024, Barangay San Fernando, Malvar, Batangas last July 13, 2024, Barangay Luta Norte, last July 28, 2024 and Barangay Luta Sur, Malvar, Batangas last July 21, 2024, to give Dental checkup and tooth extraction to Senior Citizens beneficiaries as Kick Off Project of Rotary Club of Malvar this Rotary Year 2024-2025. The beneficiary’s overall health was also examined by Dr. Kim Irving Billones of RC Malvar. Dr. Mariah Alvarez-Rivera, another RC Malvar Rotarian spearheaded the Dental Mission by offering the support of her staff from Mariah Dental Clinic. The Malvar Health Office, headed by Dra. Kierley Villanueva and the head of the Barangays and Functionaries gave their all-out support to the RC Malvar Project.

Dental and Medical Mission to Luta Sur National High School
At the request of Luta Sur National High School, Rotary Club of Malvar heed the call for the Dental and Medical Mission in preparation for the opening of School year 2024. Last July 21, 2024, the Rotary Club of Malvar gave Dental checkup and tooth extraction to selected Students of Luta Sur National High School. With the help and guidance of Dr. Mariah Alvarez-Rivera of RC Malvar and her staff from Mariah Dental Clinic, the Dental and Medical Mission was a success.

In response for the call of different School in Malvar Batangas, Rotary Club of Malvar gave School supplies, cleaning materials and Disinfectant to selected schools in Malvar, Batangas last August 2, 2024. This is with coordination and support to DEPED for the Brigada Eskwela this School year 2024-2025.
The project will boost the different schools fight against diseases and raise underprivilege students morale by having a complete set of School materials.
